Description

Phpnuke theme with matching phpbb template. Header has small flash fx which is optimized for faster loading time. Navigation controlled by theme cp, with options to choose flash version or non-flash version by one single click, marquee function was also added into this theme and config under msg1, msg2, and msg3 in theme cpanel. Search box on / off option was also added to this theme. No need to edit any files, all settings are set through theme cp mod which is also included in this package. Both, flash version and html version of the navigation are all controlled by theme cpanel. Theme width was created at 770 px and set to 100%, blocks are set at 165 px width. Footer has nuke banner display which is controlled under admin panel in preference. With footer message 1, 2 ,3 and 4. Since the footer is 100% expandable, sizing depends on your footer message. Theme is compatible with resolutions 800 x 600 and up tested with IE 6+, Netscape, Mozilla, Firebird, Opera. Theme was created under nuke version 7.2 and should work without errors for versions 6.8 and above. User login was also added into the header portion of the theme.

Files structure

This is what the folder directories should look like inside PixelPC-themepack.zip after you unzip:

sources/FONT/ - fonts used for the main logo of this theme also the forum header.
sources/PSD/logo.psd - photoshop required to edit the logo of this theme
sources/PSD/PixelPc-forum.psd - photoshop required to edit the forum header of this theme
sources/FLA/logo.fla - the flash source for the logo of this theme.
notes/... - skip this folder, you're reading it so no need to do anything in here.
html/admin/... - in the admin folder are the needed files for theme cp mod, if you already have my theme cp installed then no need to upload this dir.
html/images/... - this is the admin icon image for theme cp mod, again skip if you already have theme cp.
html/themes/PixelPC/... - this is the theme, upload the whole folder "PixelPC" into your nuke themes folder..
html/install.php - this is the file you need to point your browser to after uploading, it creates the needed database into your mysql for theme cp mod, skip this if you already have theme cp. After install REMOVE install.php.

After uploading the contents in html folder and point your browser to www.yournuke.com/install.php everything else is pretty much self explanatory

Requirements to edit logo Photoshop 6 or above Macromedia flash mx or above (if using flash version)	Editing logo Changing the logo can't be easier than this. Before editing, I recommend to install the font that came with this theme first. Using the provided psd file located in sources/PSD/logo.psd. After editing, simply go to main menu and choose "save for web " and save as gif format. No need to rename the image file, leave it at default and replace your new "edited "logo.gif" with the old that is located in themes/PixelPC/images folder. No matter if you're using Flash version or non flash version of the theme, follow the same steps here. Thats it for the non flash version users, for the flash version users, there is just one more step. After the logo editing part, open up the logo.fla with macromedia flash. Once its opened, on your keyboard press Ctrl+L which opens the library for this file, click on logo.gif in the list, once the preview image shows, double click on the image and a new option window will pop up. Select the import option and point it to the new edited logo.gif which you just made with photoshop. Once selected, simply press ok. Now you should see your logo as background instead of the default. From here, go to main menu and select publish, once published just replace the new logo.swf with the old located in themes/PixelPC/images/ folder. Note: The psd file is pre-edited with correct sizing and settings, if you're doing more than just changing text i don't guarantee the theme to function properly after.
Editing Navigation links and lable / Theme Cp For those not familar with my theme cp mod, changing the navigation links on the header couldnt be easier. No matter if you're using flash or non flash version all links are updated on the fly after changes have made. If you're not sure what some functions are in theme cp, try them out, it wont cause any damage.	Tips For flash version users, since the navigation is loaded by dynamic text, flash encodes text and certain symbols differently. For example, if you have a link with an url that contains the symbol "&" like modules.php?name=Forums&file=index If you input that into theme cp you'll notice the link to that button wont work properly. For flash, instead of using "&" you need to encode it and use "%26" which in this case it would be modules.php?name=Forums%26file=index Most of you will not run into situations like this but I just wanted to give you a heads up.
